The Asian Adoptees of Canada is hosting a live Q&A with Korean-American Adoptee and Director of Twinsters, Sam Futerman.

Twinsters is Sam’s directorial debut. In this documentary, she chronicles her reunion with her identical twin sister she never knew she had. Her sister, who was adopted too and raised in Paris, France, and Sam reunite and together they embark on a return trip to their homeland, South Korea.

The evening will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and learn more about the behind the scenes, as well as what has transpired since this documentary was released. It’s a rare glimpse to gain insights from the adoptee who is both behind and in front of the camera.

We will air segments of the documentary for context the evening of the event, and individuals are also welcome to watch the film prior to the 28th. You can do so on a variety of platforms including: YouTube, Google Play, Apple Play.
